Larva Labs, the firm behind CryptoPunks and other top art projects, has confirmed a deal with one of Hollywood’s top talent agencies

CryptoPunks creator Larva Labs has sealed a representation deal with the United Talent Agency (UTA), as per a story published in The Hollywood Reporter. The agreement will allow the public to see various non-fungible tokens (NFT) items. Art projects Autoglyphs and CryptoPunks will also benefit from it. Larva Labs’ crypto native IP will allow the talent agency to expand its reach into virtual assets.

Matt Hall was the co-founder and CEO of Larva Labs. He said that Larva Labs was eager to work with the talent agency. He said that the collaboration would bring more exposure to the NFT collection and increase its value. The collaboration was highly praised by Lesley Silverman (HTMOT ), who heads the Digital Assets section at UTA.

I would say it is one the first chances for an IP that originated fully in the crypto-world, to enter a wider entertainment space. They earned it . “

While the details of the deal were not disclosed, the engaging NFT crypto-art project CryptoPunks could appear in movies, TV shows, and even games. Other projects could also be offered similar media representation. Additional areas of the representation agreement include publishing.

There has been a lot of buzz about NFTs with CryptoPunks being one of the most iconic and interesting projects. The art project was launched by Larva Labs in 2017 and features 10,000 individual algorithmically created pixelated portraits of different characters on the Ethereum blockchain. It is important to note that this was one of the first NFT projects on blockchain.

Although the characters are pixelated, in various regalia they have seen a rise in their value in recent years. They are often associated with wealth and style. At one point, CryptoPunks were of virtually no value and many were given away for free. However, today’s punks are priced at thousands of dollars, while the more expensive, collectible ones trade for millions.

In fact, a couple of CryptoPunks fetched $16.9 million in a Christie’s auction held in May, making it one of the largest NFT exchanges in history. Visa was the latest to trade in these collectible punks. Last month, the payment services provider shelled out about $150,000 on CryptoPunk #7610 – a digital avatar of a woman with a mohawk cut and green face.
