GNO city features a playable trading card game that uses the WAX blockchain. GNO City allows you to collect NFTs, earn experience points, level up, and earn tokens just by playing the game. You can choose to explore the story mode, or play against other players in matches.

Welcome To GNO City

GNO City is developing an open world metaverse where players can own land and roam the city to capture characters. The project already features a playable trading card game developed on the WAX blockchain, and the NFTs can be accessed on AtomicHub.

If you’re not familiar with this genre, digital collectible cards games are a big business. Some brands, such as Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone, report reaching more than 100 million players and have a thriving eSport scene. While the industry generates $2 billion annually from selling cards to players it is not possible for them to make a lot of money unless they reach the status of a well-known eSport star.

The introduction of NFTs into the genre allows card collectors and players to make more money from trading cards and earning tokens. And while many projects are still in the development stage, GNO City is playable right now on GNOcity.io. GNO City gives players the opportunity to enjoy nostalgic trading cards with modern technology. It brings back old memories of Pokemon trading cards, but with the new concept of being able breed your NFTs to series 2 with a higher evolutionary level.

GNO city offers a variety of game modes, including battle (1v1 PVP), race and story. You can earn the GNOKEN token by playing the PVP and racing modes and you can buy character NFTs with your earned tokens in the GNOKEN shop. You will be rewarded for collecting specific NFTs in story mode.

Character Character NFTs can be upgraded with skills. Earn experience by winning in PVP and Racing modes. Each character has a maximum level that is dependent on the NFT’s rarity. Complex Series pets can be staked for hourly experience to level up your NFTs.

In PVP, you can set your character’s NFT lineup in five slots. You may lose energy as a trainer if you battle too much in the day, but you can boost your own energy by owning the Energy Refill NFT or wait it out every hour you get 20 energy maxed out at 100. Healing your character NFTs can be done with the freebie 1 per lineup slot every 24 hours or you can feed your characters some food.

Breeding your Gnomes – you can evolve your Gnome into Series II by gaining eggs. By staking a specific character, you can earn eggs and gain their egg. Each card in the Gnome Series can be staked to earn eggs every hour.

GNO City is an online multiplayer game that includes achievements and leaderboards. If players meet a certain criteria, they can claim an achievement. However, you can only claim one achievement on a NFT so make sure to choose carefully. You will also be able see your character in the leaderboards if you climb up the ranks.

For trading NFTs GNO City features a Marketplace – this means you can simply list your high level character for sale on AtomicHub and an API will pick it up and show it to all the players so people can buy a high level character with WAX.

The developers are currently working on many other features that will allow you to play to win. Coming soon is Land ownership where people with homes or businesses can stake for rewards.


You will also be able to use inventory and resources to help you build your home. Real map exploration will soon be available so that you can locate Gnome characters and capture them for NFTs.
