Mexico’s Third Richest Man Recommends to Buy Bitcoin Now –

Mexico’s third-richest billionaire, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, has advised investors to “buy bitcoin right now.” He explained that the U.S. is “looking more and more like any other irresponsible third world country.”

Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego spoke out on Wednesday about the U.S. economy, and bitcoin. Grupo Salinas is his company, which focuses on media, finance, and retail. According to Forbes’ list of billionaires, his net worth is currently $14.2 billion.

Salinas tweeted a weekly chart of the total value of the Federal Reserve’s assets (less eliminations from consolidation), which was updated on Nov. 18. It shows assets totalling more than 8. 67 trillion dollars. Tweet by the billionaire:

The Mexican billionaire is a pro-bitcoin spokesman for quite some time. In November last year, he revealed that 10% of his liquid portfolio was in bitcoin.

In June, he revealed plans to allow bitcoin at his bank. He tweeted, “I recommend bitcoin and me and my bank will be the first Mexican bank to accept bitcoin.”

On the topic of bitcoin vs. money, he suggested that you put your money in bitcoin. He stated that bitcoin is “the new gold” and that it was “much easier to transport than gold bars.

In August, the third-richest Mexican man tweeted:

I believe bitcoin has a bright future and will transform the world …. We will see.
