S.T.A.L.K.E.R. This news comes after a highly criticized announcement Wednesday. The studio also posted and then deleted a Thursday explanation that attempted to explain that it would still have NFTs.

“Based upon the feedback received, we have decided to cancel any NFT-related S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The new statement states 2 ,”. The team’s top priority is to protect the interests of its fans and players. This game is for everyone to enjoy, regardless of the cost. If you care, we care too.”

GSC Game World announced Wednesday that it was partnering with NFT platform DMarket to create digital items for its game. One of the NFTs it planned to offer would allow the owner to become a “metahuman ,”“, which in reality meant that they’d be made into NPCs in the game.

These plans have been scrapped. I guess this explains why the studio deleted its earlier tweet.
