Uniswap Labs launched the Swap Widget on Thursday. Software Engineers Now Have the Ability to Embed Uniswap Swapping Functions into Web3 Dapps
Uniswap is one of the most popular dex apps in terms of trade volume. Uniswap has announced a new widget tool to allow dapp operators to integrate Uniswap with third-party applications. The Swap Widget is simple to integrate as you only need one React component and one line code.
” We envision a world where everyone has access to fair, open and transparent markets,” the company stated on Thursday. The Swap Widget helps developers embed Uniswap Swapping functionality. This allows users to swap tokens, join a DAO or community, wrap assets and much more without having to leave their apps .”

The Swap Widget has a customizable user interface and connects to layer two chains (L2) such as Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism. Uniswap claims that the Swap widget is available in a variety of Web3 applications such as Oasis.app and Friends With Benefits.
As of Thursday, the widget is fully available to embed into a Web3 application and people can follow instructions by leveraging Uniswap’s developer docs. Swap Widget users interested in technical support or questions can join the Discord channel. Uniswap v3 currently has the highest trading volume of all the dex protocols that use $1. 11 billion in 24-hour volume. There are 479 unique tokens available on Uniswap and roughly 923 pairs, according to dex platform statistics.
